One of my goals for this year was to get more crafty, so I thought it was about time I went out to get some more supplies and I wanted to start scrapbooking, but any excuse to go shopping. So here's what I managed to gather in my little trip into my local town centre (although a trip to hobby craft may be on the cards).
If there's on weakness I have when it comes to stationery it's brown paper, although these two were items I set out to buy for definite. The first on the right is the book I intend for using to keep all my I stay photos in, it's A5 and ties at the side with ribbon, the pages are all blank Kraft paper and was £5 from Paperchase. The book on the left is just an A5 ruled notebook with a Kraft cover (which I haven't decided whether to decorate or not yet) and was £2 from Hema.
Next up two reels of ribbon (although I could've easily brought more) one pink polka dot and the other is mint green gingham print, both were £1 from Tiger. Also some small tags (of course the Kraft paper ones, though I really should have bought the coloured ones), I used larger ones as labels in my photography A level, so I definitely wanted to get them again for personal projects. I also thought they'd look cute with the ribbon tied through - these were also £1 from Tiger.
A4 Pad of Decorative Paper, has 40 pages of 10 prints all of which I love. This was £2 from Tiger.
These are probably my favourite items in the haul. After having seen far too many things you can do with washi tape on Pinterest I had to get some and I couldn't resist this floral print pack from Hema for £2. Next up is an impulse buy, after thinking 'ooooo these are pretty' a pack of envelopes, £3 Hema. There are two different sizes, you get 4 of each, in a variety of prints. The larger ones are meant to be for photo CDs (but does anyone still do that now?) and the smaller ones are meant for storing momentos in (which is what I'll use both for, I'm weirdly sentimental when it comes to keeping tickets for things).
Not particularly exciting, but photo corners so I have the option at least to take photos out of my scrapbook. Pack of 500 £2 from Paperchase.
These I also bought because I couldn't resist, they're just too cute. It's tiny paper bunting ( yes I'm well aware I could make my own but the prints on these are a really pretty mix of polka dots, florals and pastels. £1.50 from Wilkinsons
