Hello and once again another month has passed us by so welcome to my June Favourites! Every month I talk to you about the things I've been loving from Books to Beauty and TV and Film. So here they are!
Books:
Station Eleven - Emily St. John Mandel I have a lot to say about this book, so I'll leave it for now until I post a full review. But having been recommended this book, and then the woman in Waterstones raving about it when I purchased it I had high expectations for this book and was not disappointed. If you're a fan of dystopian fiction I'd definitely recommend it.
TV:
Once Upon a Time I binge watched season one and two of this show last year and was extremely excited when Netflix uploaded seasons 3 and 4 (it really is my saviour when it comes to TV shows) but found it a little difficult to get back into after such a long time. I especially hated Peter Pan, honestly I just really really wanted to punch him in the face, with a shovel, repeatedly *err heem*. After that dark turn and once again choosing my favourite TV series method of binge watching I quickly got through seasons 3 and 4. The frozen references in season four are also hilariously brilliant 'half price sauna for Anna's friend'. Although the Disney villain take over did annoy me a little as it did steer away from the original fairytale premise the show originally had.
Orange is the New Black
Season 3 came on Netflix the day before my birthday and it was the perfect early birthday present. If it hadn't been for the fact I had plans that evening I probably would've watched the whole series in one day, but like last year I stopped myself... sadly (I joke, I do like interacting with people in real life).

Community
I love at TV show that is around 20 minutes long and I originally put this on just to fill some time and I have been hooked, it's so easy to watch and has one of this perfect mixes of characters.
Film:
Big Hero Six I finally got round to watching it this month and I loved it. It's probably the best Disney film I've seen in a long time. Baymax was adorable... Where can I get one ?
Music:
Jamie T - Carry on the Grudge
After wanting this album for months I've had it on repeat this month and it's my go to when I'm travelling
Food and Drink:
Strawberry and Lime Cider Summer time = Cider time. For me there's nothing more refreshing in the hot weather than an icy cold fruity cider and since the sun has been shining I have definitely had more than a few of these this month.
Havet (restaurant, Bromley http://havetrestaurant.com/bromley-kent/ ) I haven't been here for months, partially because it's always so busy so it's pretty much a must that you book. But I was definitely not disappointed after the long wait, I left extremely full.
Beauty:
Lush - Fizzbanger Bath Ballistic
I never usually buy bath bombs, I'm much more of a bubble bath kinda gal. I went in intended to get a new bubble bar and got two bath bombs this being one of them. This one has popping candy in (yes this was the main reason I ended up buying it) and smells like sherbert lemon it was delicious.
Miscellaneous:
My new sunglasses: £7.99 New Look it was time to finally stop buying sunglasses from primark and buy a more classy grown up pair, so I got these from New Look.
In fact New Look in general has been a favourite this month, I've managed to bag a lot of bargains
Backpack: Jack Wills £39
YouTube: Cereal Time the perfect quirky morning show that you can actually watch any time of day
Cloee xoxo
